Spa Opening
The spa opening service does not include completely filling the spa and does not include chemicals (outside of those selected at the time of booking) or water balancing. The spa is partially filled (when possible) to ensure proper operation and to inspect for leaks (where visible). Mermaid does not supply water, if necessary they will use the customer hose and water hook up. If additional service is required, a report will be submitted, and a follow-up quote supplied.
Mermaid Pools do not move or lift spas, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the technician has proper access to the spa and its components/equipment prior to their arrival.
These prices are for outdoor residential spas only. We do not offer services for Commercial spas.

- Reconnect all plumbing
- The customer will be responsible for filling and starting the spa.
Standard Spa Opening - Mermaid Fills Spa
2 Jet Pumps, Blower, seats up to 7
Included:
- Reassemble and reinstall all jets, diverters & accessories
- Reconnect all plumbing
- Mermaid will fill the spa and perform a brief start up of the spa to ensure proper operation and to inspect for leaks (where visible).
- Customer must provide hose and water hook up for us to fill the spa (Mermaid does not provide water).
Swim Spa Opening
Included:
- Reassemble and reinstall all jets, diverters & accessories
- Reconnect all plumbing
- The customer will be responsible for filling and starting the spa.
Do you require Additional Chemicals or Products? add them to your order below and we will deliver them with your scheduled opening.
Note : We do not clean or balance the spa water. This is the customer's responsibility.
We kindly ask that ALL pets remain indoors while our technicians are on site.
24 hours prior to your scheduled service we will contact you and provide a time frame for the appointment.
For all visits the technicians must have unobstructed access to the yard AND spa upon arrival, if access is not available the service will not be provided and the cost of the visit will be non-refundable, the return visit will be considered an ‘extra’ visit and a trip charge of $95.00(+hst) will apply.

If conditions in the yard contradict the information provided at the time of booking, the contractor(s) will attempt to complete the service to the best of his abilities.
We do not guarantee damage caused by unforeseen or uncontrollable circumstances, issues that arise after the opening/closing of the spa that are not a direct result of the opening/closing of the spa, or damage caused to the spa or any of its components that are already in an advanced state of wear. Mermaid pools do not guarantee service carried out by the homeowner or a third party.
Our Responsibilities:
· Partially fill the spa (when possible)
· Reassemble and reinstall all jets, diverters, & accessories
· Reconnect plumbing
· Briefly start the spa to ensure proper operation and to inspect for leaks (where visible)
Customer’s responsibilities:
· Provide access to the yard, all four sides of the spa, and the GFCI
· Provide access to a functional garden hose (within reach of the spa)
· Fill & start the spa
· Ensure proper operation & report any outstanding issues
· Test and balance the water
All quotes are sight unseen. Prices may change due to unforeseen circumstances, improper information, and onsite conditions.

All services are COD. Credit information must be provided at the time of the booking. A 35% deposit is required on all orders 24hrs prior to the contractor being dispatched. No exceptions.
